In addition to the typical local dishes, tourists found two\nother basic things in our community, hospitality and the unique and precious\nmicroclimate with its coolness and its scents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For\ntruffle lovers, an opportunity not to be missed. A very successful festival\nmade livelier by a beautiful voice singing Aretha Franklin\u2019s melodies. Thanks\nto the Municipal Administration who is committed in keeping the town alive and\nto the regional funds targeted to ensure that small towns like ours are\nincreasing tourist attractions in the hope that\nthis will revive the town. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roseto and its people are waiting for you and so is the air. The\nsame air each one of us who has left and is now far away misses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Come back and visit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Sagra del tartufo a Roseto Valfortore&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Uno dei Borghi pi\u00f9 belli d\u2019Italia<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ma chi l\u2019avrebbe mai detto o pensato che Roseto\nValfortore un giorno sarebbe diventato un paese che festeggia, con una Sagra,\nil tartufo, eppure tanti anziani e gente della mia et\u00e0, meno anziani, ma con\nanni sulle spalle hanno come ricordo un nome che identificava questo fungo di\nterra \u201cU TARATUFFL\u2019e\u201d era molto ricercato e mangiato dai maiali che pascolavano\nnei boschi, per\u00f2 un giorno un giovane lavoratore Rosetano, tal Giuseppe Rossi,\ntrovandosi in Abruzzo incontr\u00f2 un cercatore di tale fungo sotterraneo e fu\nattratto da questo prodotto vecchio del territorio ma nuovo come sapore sulle\ntavole di molti intenditori, diventando un cercatore appassionato, un fungo una\nvolta disprezzato oggi al centro di un commercio e di una degustazione degna di\navere ogni anno una Sagra a lui dedicata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il 3 di Agosto, voluto con il patrocinio dell\u2019\nAmministrazione Comunale e l\u2019Ente Proloco di Roseto, c\u2019\u00e8 stato, nel nostro\nBorgo, questo avvenimento che ormai da parecchi anni attira turisti da ogni\nparte d\u2019Italia per venire a gustare in mille modi la cucina Rosetana arricchita\ndal profumo di questo prezioso tubero \u201cIl Re Tartufo\u201d oltre ai piatti tipici\ndel nostro paese il turista ha trovato due cose basilari della nostra Comunit\u00e0,\nl\u2019ospitalit\u00e0 ed il microclima unico e prezioso con la sua frescura e I suoi\nprofumi. Per gli amanti del tartufo, un&#8217;occasione\nassolutamente da non perdere. Sagra riuscitissima allietata da una bellissima\nvoce che cantava melodie di Aretha Franklin. Grazie all\u2019 Amministrazione\nComunale attenta a mantenere il paese vivo ed ai fondi Regionali mirati per\nfarsi che i piccoli paesi come il nostro siano sempre pi\u00f9 attrazione turistica\ne la speranza che ci\u00f2 faccia rivivere il paese.
