Traditionally Pasquetta was the day after Easter, a holiday where people would gather some food in a basket and head out for a picnic in the surrounding countryside with friends and family. This year our first was pasta al forno, which could be readily transported, followed by our own baskets, made up with traditional lamb, potatoes and carrots.
