Saturday September 26th we held our annual Vendemmia celebration. Preparation work started early in the morning, and lunch for the crew was held outside, enjoying the nice weather. People started arriving around 6:00, including some visitors from Italy, Shortly after that it started raining, but fortunately this occurred while we were enjoying a wonderful meal, and we had tents set up outside where the grape crushing festivities were held. By the time we moved outside for the main event the rain had ended, and things were dry under the tent, at least until the squishing of the grapes commenced.
